Through the effort of volunteers, the Paola Roots Festival, a non-profit organization, assists organizations such as Cops for Tots. Additionally, several years ago the Paola Roots Festival created the Blue Moon Scholarship, in honor of Peter Hasselquist, a long time local performer at early Roots Festivals. The Blue Moon Scholarship is awarded each year to individual high school seniors to assist with continued education in a music related field. 

Admission to the festival is $10.00 per person, per day, and will be available at the gate.  Children 10 & under are FREE! Advance purchase of tickets is not available. If you would like to volunteer, contact our Director of Volunteers, Kristi Johnson.
